Airport Railroad (A’REX)

    A’REX is the fastest means of transportation connecting Incheon Airport and Seoul. There are 2 types of train, Express that goes nonstop between Incheon international airport and Seoul station and commuter trains that stops at all 14 stations in between Incheon international airport and Seoul station.

Getting to Seoul

Subway

    Seoul has nine subway lines –from 1 to 9- which are connected to the Suin –Bundang Line, Shinbundang Line, Airport Railway, Gyeonggui Jungang Line, forming a comprehensive underground transit system for the Seoul metropolitan area. Any one can easily access the system because the routes are marked by color and the route and station numbers are all labeled.

    Seoul has four types of buses that are color- coded (Based on fares paid in cash)

    For long distances of Seoul

    For transportation between blue bus stops and subway station stops, these buses run parallel to the subways in some areas.

Taxi

    Seoul taxies include regular taxis, and deluxe taxis, and separate taxis for foreigners are operated.

Lotte Tower

Kyeongbokgung palace

The first royal palace built in the Joseon dynasty is where the 500-year history of Joseon began. The largest of the five grand palaces remaining in Seoul, Gyeongbokgung palace showcases Joseon’s royal culture, palace life , and architecture through Geunjeongjeon, Gyeonhoeru Pavilion, and other structures. The national palace Museum and National Fork Museum of Korea are nearby to learn more about royal culture and historical living conditions.
